秀芬芭蕾舞學校創辦於1989年，校長張秀芬女士離開香港芭蕾舞團的崗位後，追尋舞蹈藝術教育的理想，設校於新蒲崗，多年來栽培不少區內青少年。校長張秀芬女士於1995年成立粉嶺分校，為北區第一間芭蕾舞學校。學校亦與長洲一非牟利中心合辦課程，為離島的青少年提供學習舞蹈的機會。學校多年來以「慈恩中心」之名參與慈善演出及比賽，希望學生本著「慈愛」與「感恩」的心，取之社會，用於社會。
Classical Ballet . Sophisticated Mentors
The Josephine School of Ballet was founded in 1989 by Lady Josephine, who left the Hong Kong Ballet Team to dedicate herself to the art and philosophy of ballet. Over the years, the school has nurtured numerous young talents throughout Hong Kong. In 1995, Josephine established the first ballet school in the northern district of Fanling. Shortly thereafter, the Josephine School of Ballet partnered with a non-profit organization to offer ballet lessons to the youth of Cheung Chau Island. Throughout its history, the school has participated in numerous charitable events through performances and competitions, instilling in its students a deep sense of dedication and appreciation, and teaching them the maxim, "Taken from society, to give back to society."

芭蕾舞向來被視為貴族的藝術，校長張秀芬女士卻有教無類，推廣芭蕾舞普及平民化。我們與不同地區的社區中心合作，讓各階層的學生受惠，培育更多有潛質的青少年。不論富貧，不論身體條件，我們同樣悉心教導。以芭蕾藝術教育，讓他們健康地走出成長的道路，教學生學習欣賞與謙卑，豐富他們的生命視野。
Ballet Education for All
Ballet was perceived to be an art for the aristocrats, but Josephine thought otherwise. She believes that ballet should be for everyone and, as such, she promotes and spreads extensively the concept of ballet without the fetters imposed by the social class system. We partner with multiple organisations across different areas in order to favour and bring forth the potential in each and every student regardless of social status. No matter the circumstances, we treat and educate the students equally. Through ballet, we hope to encourage well-rounded growth by educating our students to appreciate ballet and be humble and, at the same time, enriching their outlook on life.
